Position: Video Editor and Producer

The Sun FC was a twice-daily football news show featured on The Sun Newspaper’s website. The afternoon show was hosted by Ian Wright, while the morning show was hosted by Samantha Johnson.

My role was Head Editor and Co-Producer for both shows. I worked closely with Samantha Johnson and Ian Wright, as well as collaborating with multiple football producers, directors, researchers, and the gallery crew to produce the final shows.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead video editor for both the afternoon and morning shows.
• Edited video packages and managed gallery play-ins.
• Co-produced episodes in collaboration with directors and producers.
• Conducted football research to enhance content accuracy.
• Operated cameras and conducted location shooting.
• Acted as a consultant between Ian Wright, Samantha Johnson, and the production team.
• Exported final edits and hosted them on the website.

Achievements:

• Final shows were advertised daily in The Sun Newspaper.
• Successfully managed the completion of every show.
• Ensured the final delivery of shows to the website.
• Supervised and trained junior editors and media managers.
