Position:  Video Editor, Producer and Vision Mixer

The Sun Biz Sessions were a live, acoustic, multi-camera video recording sessions featuring some of the biggest stars in today’s music scene. Artists who have recorded sessions include Ellie Goulding, Travis, Jack Johnson, K.T. Tunstall, Chas and Dave, Seasick Steve, Birdy, Editors, Foxes, Olly Murs, The Feeling, and The Fratellis.

Initially, my role was to gallery produce, but this later expanded to include DSLR filming and editing the final videos.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Welcomed and greeted talent upon arrival.
• Set up and adjusted lighting for recording sessions.
• Supervised the placement of microphones and music equipment.
• Positioned remote cameras for optimal angles.
• Performed live editing and vision mixing in the gallery.
• Engaged in DSLR filmmaking.
• Edited final videos and hosted them on News International websites.

Achievements:

• Collaborated with some of the most renowned international musicians and artists from the UK and beyond.
• Delivered multiple high-quality videos for News International websites.
• Directed and supervised major music artists during recording sessions.
