In June 2016, The Sun Online expanded its social media presence by producing more original video content for Facebook and Facebook Live.
- Appointed Video Producer for Sun Sport and Dan Wootton’s Bizarre Facebook page, I was:
- Responsible for the creation of video content for the Sun Sport and Bizarre Facebook pages. This included writing, filming, and editing video content, as well as developing social video branding.
- The first point of contact between editorial staff and other departments.
- Responsible for training junior staff and working with celebrities and senior management.
- I successfully delivered high-quality video content for The Sun’s social media platforms, contributing to an audience increase of over 40%. Several Facebook videos achieved viewerships of over 30 million.
